Background on Edward Sharp:

Edward Sharp was CFO at Avi Networks, a leading developer of multi cloud application services, up until its recent acquisition by VMWare.  At Avi, Edward was responsible for the business model and operational scaling of the company.  Previous to Avi, Edward was Chief Strategy & Technology Officer at PMC-Sierra, a public semiconductor & solutions company serving the storage and networking industry, which was acquired by Microsemi.  He also served as CEO of Quorum Labs, an instant recovery cloud service provider, and held many roles at NetApp, from sales & alliances, through pricing, strategy & operations, to product leadership & general management.  At NetApp, Edward developed strong partnerships with Microsoft and Symantec, and led their emerging products, data protection and internet proxy business.
